What began as a desire for more livable outdoor space became a three-level deck system engineered to last a lifetime. We started with a 3D rendering to align on sightlines, stair paths, and how each level would connect to the home. With approvals in place, our team carefully framed all three floors in steel, sequencing lifts, welds, and inspections to ensure strength, longevity, and a clean fit to the existing structure. Each deck received its own program and finish palette, with drainage, flashing, and fasteners specified for long-term performance. The project spanned three months within the $300k–$350k budget and included detailed planning and engineering to meet code and the clients’ preferences.
The result is a signature feature that elevates the entire property: three distinct outdoor rooms, each with its own feel and function, all anchored by robust steel framing and curated finishes. The owners love how the spaces flow, how the views open up at every level, and how “future-proof” the structure feels, calling it one of their favorite parts of the home and a true selling piece.
